Solid spot for takeout sushi in the neighborhood and at a great price point! Note that they only offer pickup/delivery (no dine in) and if you order in person they only accept cash. The salmon combo was delicious and great quality for what you pay. Lunch specials also look enticing I will be back to check out another time!

This is literally my go to sushi spot in the area. I've been getting food here to-go since 2020. The amount of times I've gotten the three roll lunch special and had it fresh, flavorful, with my order correct every time, is countless. I sometimes get the party platters for holidays and my partner will get their lunch special but trust me, no matter what you get, will be bomb. Also, the amount of food you get is hugeeee (when you order something non-sushi). However, when you do get sushi, the fish to rice ratio is sooo good. The amount of fish you get makes it so worth it.

The nigiri sushi and rolls here are excellent. After our favorite delivery sushi place closed we've been looking for a replacement and have suffered through a bunch of mediocre places. The biggest issue is bland and/or undercooked sushi rice. I'm happy to say East 21 has excellent sushi rice using enough rice vinegar and salt -- and on top of that (literally) their fish is fresh and delicious. I love that they use raw salmon instead of smoked in their Philadelphia roll. Their yellowtail, tuna, spicy rolls and eel are all excellent. The unagi is really generous portions. And they have some good combo roll specials. It's better and cheaper than some of the other nearby options.

Great food for a fast food Chinese takeaway, I ordered from here all the time. Sushi is good too. I always get bento box and it's amazing.

This is the ABSOLUTE BEST sushi in NYC (or dare I say, in the world). So I'm honestly surprised it only has a 3.7 rating- it deserves all 5 stars. My sister and I are loyal fans and get the 3 rolls/$9.75 lunch special nearly every week. The quality of sushi here trumps all the upscale ones in Manhattan even and I can't stress enough how delicious every single sushi here is. You can't go wrong with a classic salmon roll. Their portions of fish are soo generous - you won't be disappointed.

Always fast and efficient- my family loves the chicken cutlet curry and also the porkchop cutlet curry over white rice. Proportions are good with the price and delivery is fast and friendly

Solid chinese food. Typical, generic but good. Good prices and good value and the food is made fresh to order, I always order pickup and often have to wait for them to finish making my food because they make it to order. They also have lots of sushi and seafood options aswell as Japanese options like bento boxes.

This place has always been great yet unassuming. Reminds me of the loyal, losery friends who you didn't really want to be seen with but they always came back to you. Actually, it's more like the player who can do everything well. They are like the 5-tool player of Chinese take-out. They have crappy Chinese, good chinese, Japanese sushi and bento boxes, Thai food, and more. The menu goes on and on in so many ways. Their sushi is has great rice and the temperature is just right. If this in a restaurant, it would be much higher rated and appreciation. Like if Happy Kitchen has this food, it would be awesome.
